BMangus
FSX doesn't run more than 5 or 6 minutes after the latest Windows 10 update. Installed it this morning on start-up. Here's the faulting module: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: VRS_TacPack.dll, version: 1.4.3.4, time stamp: 0x589bb298 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0010eb14 Faulting process id: 0x27bc Faulting application start time: 0x01d360a861e755b1 Faulting application path: C:\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe Faulting module path: C:\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules\VRS_TacPack\VRS_TacPack.dll Report Id: f8850ae2-5b04-4930-8707-66143a2856a4 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: I'd appreciate any words of wisdom anyone has. JSkorna
It's not the Win 10 Update, but your VRS_TacPack program. http://www.air-source.us/images/sigs/000219_195_jimskorna.png
BMangus
Well, thanks for the reply. I get the same CTD with TacPack disabled (ie: not selected at startup). Just happens that I selected this faulting module listing from a time when TacPack was enabled. I'll keep looking. . . .
jorgen.s.andersen
I have the latest Win 10 updates, and no CTDs. What hsppens if you uninstall TacPack, reboot the PC and then try FSX again? Jorgen
longbreak754
Although you are not ENABLING TacPack, some elements of it is still being loaded into FSX and therefore may still be the cause of the error....... Two options to try......... A. Make sure you have the latest version of TacPack (currently V1.4.3.4). B. Uninstall TacPack, reboot and try FSX and.......... If the same error occurs, look at the faulting module to find what the cause is..... If good re-install TacPack and retest. Regards Brian
