ItaLiaNKiinG
Hey guys, I'm having a slight problem inputting the route information in the FMC, here's the route that I'm taking: SYKES7 SIMMR DCT REMIS DCT LEV/N0500F380 DCT SBI DCT IAH DCT CWK DCT PEQ J183 ELP DCT DMN J184 BXK J4 MESSI DCT ESTWD HLYWD1 Now when I try to enter "DCT" into the VIA (airways) on RTE page I get an invalid entry message, same if I try to enter it in the TO side, I don't know why or what "DCT" is, if someone can clarify and help me out that'll be great. vgbaron
it's shorthand for DIRECT - just enter the waypoints after the DCT into the FMS Vic P3D Rig I7 7700K @ 5.0ghz Asus Maximus X270 16G G.Skill 3600 15-15-15-18 2T EVGARTX2080ti Corsair 1000W PSU 1TB Samsung SSD for P3D - 2 - 256G OCZ Vector SSD - HAF X - Corsiar H100i V2 Liquid Cooler W10 64 Pro. ItaLiaNKiinG
it's shorthand for DIRECT - just enter the waypoints after the DCT into the FMS Vic Okay one more question, after entering the arrival runway and code "SYKES7" "01L" I start entering the waypoints in the RTE section, but when I get to HLYWD1 airway it says invalid, I try to enter it in on the ARR/DEP since it is a STAR and it screws with my route, any idea why it's doing this? EDIT: I can ignore the airway/STAR "HLYWD1" all together and make the waypoints in that airway direct and it will still give me the correct path but I want to do it as realistic as possible
vgbaron
Really haven't a clue unless that waypoint is not in the database for the FMS.
