usb777
Keep seeing this button assignment in my flight control setup list, Just what is it? Always assigned to a pan view by default. Mike G. f16jockey_2
It is what is says: for looking around in the cockpit or outside. IMO It's better to keep it there, and leave POV view panning outside FSUIPC. Wim
usb777
Not sure what you mean. Mike G. f16jockey_2
Then I'm not sure what you're asking. It's a hat switch, the 8-way thingy. POV stands for point-of-view if I'm not mistaken. 01 stands for "one". On an X52 there are three of them. POV 01 is the most obvious one. usb777
OK, so on the default saitek throttle quadrant for example in the assignment list it has POV 01 listed for the pan view assignment but the X52 has hat switch listed. Get what I am seeing? And you are saying they are the same just named different in the program. Mike G. f16jockey_2
I don't have a Saitek (now Logitech btw) throttle quadrant. Just the X52 Pro, I'm afraid I can't help any further on that. On the X52, FSX only names POV1 as "Hat Switch". The movements on the other 2 hats are recognized as 8 separate buttons. Wim
usb777
I think I understand now. FSX uses POV 01 as the acronym and Saitek uses Hat Switch. Makes sense. Mike G.
