SSP76
I am not sure what happened. Last created flight was saved. When I returned at startup I received the message "the requested flight file is corrupt or cant be found. FS will try to load the default flight." However whenI attempt to save a created flight it is not saved in "saved flights". How can I repair?
jgf
Flights are saved in two places (I've forgotten why), some are in the Flights folder of FS9, some are in "My Documents\Flight Simulator Files". You need admin rights to write in the latter on new OS's; this is also an issue if FS9 is installed in Program Files. If a saved flight was working and now FS9 throws the "corrupt message, it's often because something germane to the flight is missing - the aircraft, an airport, the texture the aircraft was using (took me ages to isolate that one), etc. And sometimes FS corrupts a file while writing, just from sheer orneriness (the logbook is a common example, good idea to keep it backed up, as well as scenery.cfg).
