Missing Traffic and Terminals

Here is the downside --- I have lost the traffic and airport terminals .

Here is the sequence of events .

FSX and my computer froze . I could not do the Control - Alt - Delete ,

I forced a shut down by turning of the power , removed the plugs for a minute .

Here is the upside ---- Since I have lost the traffic and airport terminals my FSX Sim runs better than ever .

However I decided to experiment with the "sliders" .

Pushed them all to the right and fearful of an ordinary performance .

I cannot believe that there is no degradation of FPS and general performance .

So I guess the trade off (compromise) is all about flying and not ground scenery .

Still unsure how this all occurred .

If it works for you: don't fix it! :-)

I dunno.... I'd hate the idea of being the only plane at a "deserted" airport. And no terminals to get pax on or off the plane.

But that's just me.
