FSRecorder in P3D v3.3.5 -- Won't Install

Greetings,

I know people have been able to get FSRecorder v1.331 to work in P3D. I've watched all the tutorials and read all the directions that say:

(1) place the FSRecorder dll in the Modules folder

(2) update the text in the dll.xml located in the app data folder

However, I can't get the message to pop up when I start P3D saying "this version of FSRecorder was not verified with your version of FSX" (which is what everyone gets when it works). Consequently, FSRecorder doesn't show up in the in-flight Addons bar.

I'm using P3D v3.3.5 and I've only seen videos of this installation process for v2 and v4. Does FSrecorder 1.331 not work in P3D v3.3.5? Is there something that I am missing? Has anyone else had this problem?
