X Plane 11 crashing computer

When I first installed X Plane 11 earlier 4/12/17 approx 2 pm, it ran flawlessly every time. Now 4/13/17 about 12:20 am, it is a 50/50 chance it will either load fine or crash my computer causing a BSOD in Windows 10. I have X Plane on a "game drive" out side of the C: drive that my windows 10 is on. Does anyone know what is going on? I have not done any updates. At least of my choosing. Can't speak for the "forced updates" that microsoft likes to do behind our backs. When the game runs fine, it is nice and smooth.
