il88pp
Had folder on desktop. Images in it. Had image open in picture viewer. Minimised and forgot. Then moved folder to D: To my surprise folder was moved to D, images all in it, but folder was also still on desktop. In it on desktop only one image. I noticed picture viewer open, closed that (I think) and then deleted folder from desktop. This time it was gone. After reboot folder reappeared. Deleted again, reboot, same thing. Virusscan found nothing. Secure delete didn't help, neither did things like CCleaner. Yesterday read tip: "move/copy the files back into folder, then delete.". That worked. Copied back from D: to folder, deleted, now several reboots later hasn't reappeared. il88pp. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
il88pp
Again I had a foldedr that kept re-appearing after: delete--reboot. No idea what had been in it originally. It was simply called 'new folder'. I right-clicked it and decided to 'disable sharing'. That did it. Now after delete--reboot, it no longer re-appeared.
