repainter
Help Please, I have been away from "Simming" for a few years and the memory is not what it used to be, ergo can someone out there kindly advise is there a simple programme for use in removing unwanted Scenery Items from FS2004, ie Trees/Buildings appearing in the middle of new Runways when creating Airfields using AFCAD, many thanks. scruffyduck
I think in FS2004 you can do this by using an exclusion rectangle set to exclude all. I don't think AFCAD provides a tool to do that. There are some older tools around that can place exclusion rectangles but you might want to consider using a more recent tool such as Airport Design Editor. I will say right now that I am the author if that tool so this is not an unbiased suggestion. However ADE is very widely used and some other folks here will probably have views on it. ADE works with FS9 and provides the same capabilities as AFCAD plus a number more including the ability to place exclusion rectangles. I am not sure I can describe ADE as a simple tool though ;) Jon Moderator Scenery Design Forum www.FlightSim.com www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk www.fsdeveloper.com www.fsdeveloper.org
