yarin111
Hi all! After almost 4 years, for unknown reason, my HD Radeon 7790 is dead. I'm searching for a new graphics card, at a price of up to 130$, preferred to have NVIDIA GPU. The best option so far, seems to be the MSI GTX 1050 GAMING X 2G (btw - does anyone know if the upgrade to the gaming version actually worth the extra 10$?) Edit: I also think about the Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti, which is a better card for the same price (after rebate) My other PC specs: Motherboard: Dell Optiplex 390 Processor: Intel i5-2400 3.1GHz RAM: 4GB (I'll probably upgrade to 8 GB) So, I would like to get some opinions about my choice. Of course, if you have a better option than the GTX 1050, I would like to hear it :) Thanks in advance! :)
CRJ_simpilot
I don't think it's gonna matter either way since FS is more dependent on the CPU than the GPU. But if you play other games, of course the better GPU will be a wise option. Edit- I see you have an Optiplex. I hope the PSU has enough wattage for a new GPU. OOM errors? Read this. What the squawk?
