GDALE14853
I acquired FSPS' latest product in the Multi-core processor handling utilities "Multicore Next", to see if it could improve FSX performance on my machine, and it does seem to have had a noticeably beneficial effect. At least, it did until the other day, when my McAfee software suddenly declared 'Multicore Next.exe' to be a threat, containing a Trojan of some sort, so it has quarrantined the program, and so far I can't seem to do anything about that! If I restore it, McAfee simply re-quarrantines it - same if I uninstall and re-install it - it won't let me exclude it from scanning, and I can't find a way of putting it in the 'Trusted' list. I suppose at least this wasn't an expensive purchase, but has anyone any advice to offer other than giving up on it? GDale
longbreak754
Google is your friend here - search using a phrase similar to How to exclude a file from being scanned in McAfee and your problem will be solved....... Regards Brian
GDALE14853
Thanks for this! I've had a quick try, and so far it looks like I may have to contact McAfee support and report the situation, with details of 'problem' file, and see if they will solve it! Might as well have a go, at least! Thanks again GDale
