A simple solution is to edit the 330 panel.cfg file to point to the 320 panel.

I assume that both models have a dedicated panel folder which contains the various files needed (such as .cab, .bmp and .gau) and a 'full' panel.cfg file - by this I mean the file has the entries required to display the cockpit with entries that point to the various areas and gauges.

Two methods are available - either:

A. Make a copy of the current panel.cfg file (to provide a copy for safekeeping) and then edit the 'live' file OR

B. Simply rename the original as panel_original.cfg and create a new blank notepad text document and call it panel.cfg.

Method A - Open the original panel.cfg file in notepad and delete all of its contents and then add the following lines

[fltsim]

alias=FolderName\Panel

The FolderName is that of the location of the A320 and must be exactly the same spelling

Method B - Open the new file and add the lines as above.

Be aware that this will change both the VC AND 2D panels and that you may experience problems when viewing the panel as the cockpit sizes may differ. Also note, depending on how the separate panels are configured you may find some buttons don't work or do not function as expected.

Also check out the file library as you may find a suitable 'Thomas Ruth dedicated' replacement panel or another more generic one that suits your needs.

ALSO NOTE - as you are simply telling the panel.cfg file to point to a different location there is no requirement to delete the A330 files that are located in its relevant panel folder. Leave them be. If you don't like the results provided by the merge you simply have to delete the edited panel.cfg file and replace it with the copy - this will restore the original 330 panel

Regards
