Gerray and Fonts sizes in FSX

Greetings Simmers,:pilot:

I want to know if anyone is aware of a tip or trick to increase the font size of the : information in red...while flying

I am having some difficulties reading when the lighting is poor. Many thanks

BTW: Opa had some info for FS9..... would it apply in FSX

If you mean the red datastrip at top left of the screen giving heading/speed/altitude, it was too small for me at 1920 x 1080, so I run FSX in reso 1360 x 768 which makes it a bit bigger.

Alternatively you can use the 'infogauge' file to add new big readouts like this-

And this is the gist of it, I gather there may be more than one way to do it, but this one worked for me-

First d/load 'infoga_dcbv1.zip' and put the 'InfoGauge.CAB' file in the FSX main Gauges folder.

Open your target a/c 'Panel' file and insert these two blocks of text-

1- (delete the existing one)

[Window Titles]

Window00=Main Panel

Window01=Radio Stack

Window02=GPS

Window03=Popup

Window04=Mini Panel

window05=Info

2- Insert after the final window0x block, change 05 if necessary

Hit SHIFT (and a number 1 to 9) to make Alt/Spd/Hdg appear at top of game screen during play

CHANGING COLOUR TO RED- open the Infogauge CAB with notepad and change light green and Yellow to "Red"
