kingnorris Posted April 21, 2016 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Lol....so there I was in my Carenado Hawker 850, cruising along at 34,000 ft, ( my planned alt), when suddenly I hear "Hawker 5L, you are 0 feet above your assigned altitude. Descend and maintain FL34,000". Then, ATC repeated this exact instruction to EVERY PLANE in the air: "United 35, you are 0 feet above your assigned altitude. Descend and maintain FL 35,000". "Southwest 443, you are 0 feet above"..... You get the idea. ALL of us "zero feet above" our assigned altitudes. Never seen that before. Like ATC was drunk. (Or, more likely, it was caught in a loop). I never responded, and they never asked me to acknowledge. Shortly after, I began my descent as normal. Just thought it was humorous.
