mabe5454
From the Library: fsx_dc-10_panel_project.zip I installed in the SGA1030.zip and it works find, BUT!!! Green Square: When the mouse hovers over I get the +/- but to no avail clicking on the mouse. I exchanged it with the default B747 but just to end up with same response/results. Red Squares: The Courser dial changes the display on top but not the yellow arrow in the HSI. They might be independent from one another since this panel (great panel mind you) is like junkyard pieces of many developers put together. //-------------------------------------------------------- mabe5454
Green square solved: missing "auto_brakes = 4" in the a/c.cfg. Red square still pending. Cheers,
il88pp
for the red, check if it's really a gauge and not just an image. make backup of aircraft.cfg file. then in the aircraft.cfg delete all gauges from [window01] if gauge it will be gone. if static image not. Oops--simpler option look at the bitmap for the panel and see if the gauge is simply drawn on. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
il88pp
Or does the hdg bug move the arrow on the HSI, because then it's a gauge of course. in that case knock them out one at a time to find it. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
il88pp
I think it's gauge70 And, judging by the image the hdg-bug works with the gauge, so it is a gauge. (both set to 000) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mabe5454
Or does the hdg bug move the arrow on the HSI, because then it's a gauge of course. Yes, it does move it and yes it is a gauge in a file named CNCRD.gau. Starting to look like game over unless there is something else that can turn the yellow arrow. il88pp
You're looking in the wrong direction. The course set knob is find. It's the cncrd.gau that has an issue. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
il88pp
(i think) not tested. But i've used the course set knob before and I'm sure that's fine. It also sets the course in the window in the AP. So check out cncrd.gau instead. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

That is never a way with gauges, meaning de-compiling. waiting still for a fix, Cheers,
il88pp
Ah, yes, a .gau file. In that case substitute the gauge with another one. Same position, different gauge. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
il88pp
The hsi from the default Beech would do. One slight issue with that option is is has a vor2. (will work, but this panel has a separate instr for vor, to the left of the hsi. So that will become a bit pointless.) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mabe5454
That will no guaranty the dial at MCP will control the courser in the new HSI though. Doing for the sake doing something is not the objective. Cheers,
il88pp
I installed that knob in other panels, and there it moved the HSI just fine. Actually I'm surprised that cncrd (concorde) gauge even shows up. I thought the concorde gauges had some problems in fsx. but I'm a bit foggy on that. It obviously shows. il88pp
Sorry, I have to recall that statement. Because I can't be sure this is the same course knob. It is named differently in the panel.cfg (though it looks very much the same, and could still be the same one renamed) But another, more definite indicator. You have the course window in your panel. If that changes with the knob, then the Beech HSI course will change with it as well. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
mabe5454
To simplify the whole red square problem will be just to be able to move the Yellow Arrow in the HSI by any means. So far, nada. Cheers,
