DominicS
Lockheed YF-12A v2 By Gary Hunter Developed from the original X-Plane 10 SR-71 model by Anthony Booher / Austin Meyer / 3D model by http://www.nd-art-and-technology.com with permission. This uses the same aerodynamic tweaks as my previously uploaded SR-71 modification. I have changed the 2D panel to represent the YF-12A more than the SR-71 but I have not touched the 3D panel at all - sorry. Modifications I have made include: New enlarged and circular radome, raised cockpits by approx. 1 foot, cut-back chines with infra red search and track apertures, shorter tail cone, ventral fins beneath the engines, central folding fin beneath the rear fuselage, three opening weapons bays each housing an AIM-47 missile. Just like the real one had done, amazingly, you can fire a missile from the YF-12A while doing Mach 3+. Do not try to dogfight in this machine as it will fight back. Everything has to be done slowly especially the descent phase of flight. If you spin this plane the best solution is to bale out. Have fun Gary Download the Lockheed YF-12A here: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=search&fsec=0&fname=yf-12a_blackbird.zip
