abarter
My son has a similar PC just with a much better, more $$$, video card. I think she'll be happy for offline games just the same. If you can afford a better video card go for it. There's been mixed comments about AMD chips for FSX though.

darryl737
Having built many rigs for myself and paying customers some FSX dedicated others a mix of general use, gaming etc. using Intel and AMD chips, the new Generation of AMD chips are great for FSX to the point I changed from a Intel i7 4790 to a AMD FX9590, with stunning results. I have however not done a build with the FX4130 that's in the rig you are looking at so while the clock speed is good I would be a little cautious because its only a quad core and although FSX will only use 4 cores anyway having a 6 or 8 core AMD would help it cope with the CPU intensity that FSX demands of the CPU. The GPU ( graphics card ) is a little weak and may struggle with some gaming applications that are demanding. For the price you could build yourself a system ( its very easy ) that is twice the power of the one you are looking at. Plus its a good project to do with the kids.
