aeroplaneman
Hi all, I regularly fly the Captainsim 757, and often get a message on the FMC entry line, which is my cruise altitude plus 100ft. Any idea why? Thanks :)

f16jockey_2
Anytime you change the altitude on the MCP to something different from yr current cruise (as known by VNAV), it's copied into the scratchpad. This way you can directly enter it on the VNAV page by tapping the corresponding LSK. As said, it can be cleared by tapping , or by resetting the MCP to yr current cruise altitude. BTW I have the CS 767, not the 757 but IMO those CaptainSim FMCs are the same. Wim
aeroplaneman
Thanks for the reply. :) I knew it could be cleared but was just wondered why it appeared.
