Trabant Dave
About 8 years ago I had a nice install of FS2004 which I lost due to an (Un-backed-up) hard drive crash - not making THAT mistake again.... It rather killed FS for me as a hobby for a long time, but am now getting my FSX set up as I want it...... My current hardware is an Alienware 17 laptop with Win 7 64 bit, 16gb RAM, and all SSD drives, as well as an Intel i7 4710MQ, and the Nvidia GTX880M GPU. I have bought myself a Saitek Pro yoke & throttle combo and am looking at using an external monitor, to expand to 2 and then three - once I have built a suitable desktop to take over duties from the laptop. I'd be interested in your opinions on the Dell U2415 monitor - it ticks all the boxes for me for the purpose; it has the 16:10 ratio I prefer, and a nice thin bezel. Hardware reviews seem to think it's ok, and I was wondering if anyone here had personal experience of these monitors......
Ozzie
Hello, I use a 46" Plasma TV with a Nvidia GTX 750 on my desk top and the same TV with my lap top that has a Nvidia GTX 670 MX. No problems with either, and a huge display. Makes hunting those tiny out of the way landing strips easier.
