Unlike other incarnations of Pan American Global Airways as a Virtual Airline, this is a from the ground up reboot of the classic airline, as if they restarted operations in the last few years. We operate out of Miami International Airport (KMIA) Terminal F and G using an Embraer and Airbus fleet. We offer pilots the chance to fly all over the Carribean, Central, and South America. Rank and Tier Structure for pilots. Tier 0 - Initial Pilots with 0 hours start out at the rank of Beech 99 First Officer and fly feeder routes. After Five Flight hours in the Beech 99 First Officers are promoted to Beech 99 Captains. Pilots in Tier 0 cannot fly any aircraft from a different Tier. Tier 1 After 10 Flight Hours in the Beech 99, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Embraer EMB-120 First Officer. After 5 Flight Hours in the Embraer EMB-120, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Embraer EMB-120 Captain. Tier 2 After 10 Flight Hours in the Embraer EMB-120, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Embraer ERJ-145 First Officer. After 5 Flight Hours in the Embraer ERJ-145, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Embraer ERJ-145 Captain. Tier 3 After 10 Flight Hours in the Embraer ERJ-145, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Embraer E-Jet First Officer. After 20 Flight Hours in the Embraer E-Jet, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Embraer E-Jet Captain. Tier 4 After 30 Flight Hours in the Embraer E-Jet, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Airbus A319/320/321 First Officer. After 30 Flight Hours in the Airbus Airbus A319/320/321, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Airbus A319/320/321 Captain. Tier 5 After 40 Flight Hours in the Airbus A319/320/321, Pilots are promoted to the rank of Airbus A350 First Officer. After 50 Flight Hours in the Airbus A350, Pilots are finally promoted to Airbus A350 Captain. Flying in a Different Tier Policy As stated before, Tier 0 pilots cannot fly in any other Tier. Tier 1 Pilots may fly Tier 0 aircraft on top of their current Tier. Tier 2 Pilots may fly Tier 0 and 1 aircraft on top of their current Tier. Tier 3 Pilots may fly Tier 0, 1, and 2 aircraft on top of their current Tier. Tier 4 Pilots may fly Tier 0, 1, 2, and 3 aircraft on top of their current Tier. Tier 5 Pilots may fly Tier 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 aircraft on top of their current Tier. However, for promotion purposes, flight hours accumulated outside of the current Tier DO NOT count towards promotions. Flying outside of your tier qualifies a pilot for Special Status or Awards. Special Status/Awards Chief Pilot - Beech 99: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 25 Flight Hours in the Beech 99 Chief Pilot - Embraer EMB-120: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 25 Flight Hours in the Embraer EMB-120 Chief Pilot - Embraer ERJ-145: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 50 Flight Hours in the Embraer ERJ-145 Chief Pilot - Embraer E-170: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 50 Flight Hours in the Embraer E-170 Chief Pilot - Embraer E-190: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 50 Flight Hours in the Embraer E-190 Chief Pilot - Airbus A319: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 75 Flight Hours in the Airbus A319 Chief Pilot - Airbus A320: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 75 Flight Hours in the Airbus A320 Chief Pilot - Airbus A321: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 75 Flight Hours in the Airbus A321 Chief Pilot - Airbus A358: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 100 Flight Hours in the Airbus A350-800 Chief Pilot - Airbus A359: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 100 Flight Hours in the Airbus A350-900 Chief Pilot - Airbus A350: This Award is given to pilots who fly in excess of 100 Flight Hours in the Airbus A350-1000 Chief Pilot - Pan American Airways: This Award is given to pilots who have been given the Chief Pilot Award for all aircraft in the Pan American Airways fleet. Pilot Transfer Hours Policy Until further notice, Pan American Virtual Airways will match previous flight hours from any and all virtual airlines on a 1:1 basis. Pilots requesting that their hours transfer must provide proof of the hours. Placement of transfer pilots will be handled on a case by case basis.
