il88pp
sounda like a typical uiautomationcore error. To make sure however, find the error log: Click "Start" and then click "Control Panel." Double-click the "Administrative Tools" icon in the control panel. Double-click the "Event Viewer" icon. Click "Admimistrator events". Search for the last error from fsx. You will see info similar to this, post it. Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x04f40000 Faulting process id: 0xb84 Faulting application start time: 0x01ce5e7b4fec05cd Faulting application path: E:\FSX\fsx.exe Faulting module path: unknown Report Id: 85f639de-ca93-11e2-afac-00e04c054dc3 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: This was just an example. What we need to know is the faulting module, but post the full info. You can copy the info you see in the event viewer by selecting with the mouse and pressing: >CONTRc Then open notepad and press >CONTRv And post here. ******************************************* In case the faulting module is indeed uiautomationcore.dll, see post 4 by fxsttcb in this thread. Then you can fix it yourself. https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?285821-FSX-Fatal-error-Crash&highlight=uiautomationcore Else, post the error log as described above. il88pp [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
