Aerosoft Airbus X A320/21 Livery Not Working

Hello,

When I try to install liveries for the Airbus X A320/21 manually, my VC for that livery turns black. I can't automatically install it because I get an error. Please help, thanks.

P.S. I automatically install liveries for A318/19 and it works.

The A318/319 liveries shouldn't be a problem as there is only one version .

The A320/321 is different because there are three versions , namely the AirbusX released in 2010 , the AirbusX Extended from 2012 and the latest release A320/321 from 2014 .

AirbusX repaints cannot be installed using the Livery Manager but have to be installed using the " old fashioned " CUT & PASTE method and the same with the aircraft.cfg entry . The reason for this is quite simple , the Livery Manager was not even thought of when the AirbusX was released . The VC textures are also not compatible with the " newer " versions and either create a new version or live with a blank registration plate in the cockpit . The same applies when installing a repaint from the Extended or later version to use in the AirbusX .

Aerosoft Airbus repaints from whatever version work with all versions but you have to COPY a texture.cfg from another ( working ) aircraft of the same type if you encounter any problems with the VC .

Maybe you should pay a visit to the Aerosoft forums where this information is readily availble .

i think I have that problem I have currently got the Airbus X, some liveries work but some don't.

Cannot be any clearer than that , just copy a texture.cfg from one of the liveries supplied with the product .

By visiting the Aerosoft forum ( you have bought an Aerosoft product after all ) and actually reading the topics there , a lot of these " problems " would be solved before they even became " problems " .
