Frankfurt Scenery Problems

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to say a huge thank-you to everyone who helped with suggesting scenery links on my last thread. It was a tremendous help and my fs2004 is more alive than ever. I do need some help though with one small thing. So I downloaded the Frankfurt 2012 Scenery (From Flightsim), and there is a huge issue. Ok so the scenery works (great), the problem is that the default scenery for Frankfurt is still there, AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DELETE IT. It said on the "Readme" document to go to the SCENERY file and delete the follow Frankfurt scenery (blah, blah, blah), and I have no idea where I can find the Frankfurt default scenery for me to delete. And with thew new scenery, there are airplanes parked inside the old default buildings, and none of the new buildings have any texture. PLEASE HELP ASAP. THANKS!

Just installed this to check it out. You need first of all, ameddf11.zip. Unzip this into a temp folder somewhere, I called mine Frankfurt. Then unzip the Frankfurt 2012 file into the same temp folder.

Now following the 2012 readme you go to the 2011 scenery folder and delete AM_EDDF_2D.bgl

AM_EDDF_3D.bgl

AM_EDDF_lights.bgl

AM_EDDF_marks.bgl

AM_EDDF_signs.bgl

How you go after this is up to you, but I then moved the 2011 scenery and texture folders into the eddf-2012 folder, then moved the eddf-2012 folder into the FS9/Addon Scenery folder. Fired up fs9 and added the eddf-2012 folder to the list, and closed as normal.

That will give you the 2012 EDDF with no defaults and everything parked properly.
