irmurray
Hi all, When I load a flight into FSX, the time in the sim is always "now" i.e. the time in the real world. However, I like flying in daylight, so if I am simming in the evenings, the sim goes to evening time and I immediately have to reset the sim time to "Day". Is there any way to get a saved flight to re-load at the time-of-day when it was saved, so that if I save a daylight flight, it re-loads as a daylight flight, whatever the real time is outside? The saved flight has a [DateTimeSeason] section in it with the saved time, but FSX must be ignoring this when it reloads the flight. I looked in vain for any way to do this. Thanks for any tips. Regards, Iain.
f16jockey_2
??? Can be wrong, but I think a flight is ALWAYS loaded with the time/season as it was saved. UNLESS you saved it as default flight, then the time reverts to current. Wim
StringBean
In the General options there is a setting to choose Flight Time or Computer Time. Click on Flight Time. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots. irmurray
Hi, Wim - it's always the default flight I am using ... which is perhaps the problem! Bean - thanks, I had missed that option, I'll try that. Thanks all, Iain.
andyjohnston
I have a flight set as my default, and just before shutting down I save wherever I am. It always loads with the time of day I had at the time along with location and aircraft etc. Spent way too much time using these sims...
