FSX - flight start time always "now"

Hi all,

When I load a flight into FSX, the time in the sim is always "now" i.e. the time in the real world. However, I like flying in daylight, so if I am simming in the evenings, the sim goes to evening time and I immediately have to reset the sim time to "Day".

Is there any way to get a saved flight to re-load at the time-of-day when it was saved, so that if I save a daylight flight, it re-loads as a daylight flight, whatever the real time is outside?

The saved flight has a [DateTimeSeason] section in it with the saved time, but FSX must be ignoring this when it reloads the flight.

I looked in vain for any way to do this.

Thanks for any tips. Regards,

Iain.

I have a flight set as my default, and just before shutting down I save wherever I am. It always loads with the time of day I had at the time along with location and aircraft etc.

Spent way too much time using these sims...
