Apollo212
Hi it looks as though you are a bit ahead of your self you might want to launch the digital ownership first and the the screen where you are now cant tell from screen shot try it hope it helps Kind Regards Andrew
g7rta
Hi Andrew, no he’s done that bit correctly. You don’t have to launch digital ownership, you just have to install it. You first download the (standard) sim, followed by Digital Ownership. Then you launch the sim. (In that order) After the usual Asobo logos etc, it asks where you want to install the main part... which looking at the screenshot, that bit was ok. It is now supposed to download... but... Johny, it did ask you for the installation location... yes? Sorry I don’t know the solution (yet) Regards Steve Edited August 5, 2021 by g7rta Intel I9-13900K - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX - 64Gb DDR5 5600Mhz - Asus RTX4090 ROG STRIX 24GB 3x 43” Panasonic 4k TVs - Corsair RMx 1200W PSU - 2 x 2TB M.2, 2 x 4TB SATA III and 1 x 4TB M.2 SSDs. g7rta
This post might have a solution... https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?332563-MSFS-installation-problem One suggestion is to simply do a system restore. I don’t know if that would work for you now though. davidc2
yes it asked for the location to install and then I got stuck on this screen This is the same screen i got when it was installed before and i was just trying to update it I am running windows 10 home I had a similar problem with the initial install. The only thing that worked for me was the hotfix. I think that changed the file so my system could/would recognize it so I could start the download. There is a hotfix coming out perhaps today Windows 10 Pro, 32 gigs DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GForce RTX 3070, Intel I7 10700 running at 3.8, with Noctua NH-L9x65, Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler-HP Reverb G2 for Virtual Reality
