  1. Attached are the system specs. The joystick IS plugged into the same USB port as previously. I also tried plugging it into another port but that didn't help.
  2. First of all, I did not touch the key or joystick assignments since before my hiatus in playing. But just to be sure, I checked them and everything is in order.
  3. Something is very wrong. I uninstalled, restarted the computer and reinstalled two times and nothing changed. f7 and f8 do not extend the flaps but silence the copilot, and pulling the joystick back does not accelerate and move forward but moves the rear flaps.

  5. I paid only 24 dollars for the app on that site, it was not downloaded, only installed.
  6. When I uninstalled it, I received as instructions to reinstall it to insert the disc. But I don't have a disc. When I originally installed it I did it from some website from the UK that someone on this forum referred me to, but I don't remember it, and in any event I had to pay for it and I don't want to pay again. What can I do?
  7. Due to preoccupations, I was not able to play with the Microsoft Flight Simulator for some time, Now, it doesn't work. There is no copilot voice and the controls don't respond properly. When I pull back the joystick, instead of moving forward and accelerating, nothing happens other than the rear flaps moving. When I hit f7, which should move the forward flaps, nothing happens. I'm sure there must be other problems, but I can't get beyond this step. I don't know what happened, since the program was idle all this time. What happened, and what can I do? Thanks!!!
  8. I'm not giving up on Mission 6 as I previously indicated I might, but I still have not succeeded. Instead of following the creek or markers, I follow the green arrow on the compass on the upper left corner, and now regularly pass Waypoint 9, but I can't land successfully. I must have crashed or been grounded about 50 times. The co-pilot often says to go around, and lose altitude but I don't know how to go around and flying low often means crashing into the mountains or being grounded. What should I do?
  9. OK, I'l do what you both, MrZippy and and Larry suggest Thanks!
  10. My joystick is T. Flight Stick X from Thrustmaster. Should I, or can I, make any adjustments to it? I calibrated it by resetting it to default, and everything else in Realism ans Control ia as you have it in your picture. I try to follow the green markers but after the 3rd one they do not appear soon enough to guide me properly.
  11. I'm a newbie. I successfully landed missions 1-5 after crashing only about 5 times, but I can't seem to get thru mission 6. I crashed so far in more than 30 tries. The problems are: 1. I cant see enough of the ground to follow the creek and after the first 3, the green markers don't appear soon enough. 2. It seems to be necessary to be hair sensitive with moving the joystick to steer, and even a slightly stronger movement messes things up. 3. Something seems to be wrong with the program, since sometimes, when I need to increase altitude and pull the stick BACK, instead of going up, the plane goes down. I don't want to give up the whole thing of the Flight Simulator, since I greatly enjoyed the first 5 missions, but I seem to be stuck. Any suggestions?
