I would like to ask a question or two or three.... etc., about flying the new DC-3 in MSFS2020. I have seen a few videos online and now know how to properly start this beauty and use the Sperry Rand autopilot. Does anyone know the proper procedure for engaging the superchargers at or above 10,000'? I tried it once and lost both my engines! I was able to recover from a dive and restart them and at that point I should have landed while I was still alive, but I tried to re-engage the autopilot and fly on when the plane flipped on its back and dove to ground level or below! And, in the retrofit DC-3's, when using the modern autopilot in heading mode is there any way to change the heading? I cannot find a dial to change the default heading from 0 degrees (mag) on the compass rose? I can fly the DC-3 using GPS and VOR (I have not tried ADF or NDB yet). Thanks!

Thanks 'cobalt'. When I search 'Content Manager' all I find are the 'World Updates' which I don't want to delete. It's kind of like the devil you do and the devil you don't! But 'PG' is better than nothing. And yes, there are great addons available on flightsim.to. I do have a lot of them. My hard drive is having back problems! KiloWatt, there is a great Halifax addon from Ralph Holgar at 'Simmaddons'. It includes Halifax CYHZ, HMCS Shearwater and lots of downtown goodies. His sceneries are 5by5.

Thanks for the reply tiger1962. I'm still on the fence about, you know what. I don't like seeing the ticky-tacky boxes where there is no ynw and that was the only thing you saw in FSX and the other sims. At least there is a somewhat decent replication of actual buildings with it on. Of course, saying that, there is no substitute for modelled (?) scenery. Thanks again.

Is it possible to turn off photogrammetry for certain cities and leave all the other cities as is? Or is photogrammetry only on the MSFS servers. If it is possible, how? Thanks.

I'm a little confused myself. I am worried that I don't have the latest updates but I checked on the 'Microsoft Flight Simulator Forum' web site to find which is the latest version we should be using and it is 1.25.9.0 and that is what I have on my computer (PC). Sooo...What the 'ell!!!

I had the same problem this morning, Thursday the 12. I have a single clik icon on my task bar and when I tried to start the sim I got that same widow (and fancy too) with the "Your game needs some updates". But nothing happens! One download progress bar is green and says 'Completed' the other bar says 'Completed' but is not green. I went immediately to my 'Microsoft Store' app and found there were no updates available there either. I have another icon on my desktop and when I doubled cliked that icon the same thing happened. However, when I right clicked the icon and chose to 'Run as administrator', the sim opened up without any problem and there were no updates when it came the update page in the starting sequence. I really can't explain why that is so, but at least I am again flying.
