Thanks everyone! I've decided to bite the bullet and get a new gaming laptop to use FS 2020+. Any recommendations for a specific build or stock laptop? What system requirements do you recommend to give me the most enjoyment with FS?

Thanks, Mr Zippy! Please check out my question about XBox.

Until I get more advanced in my ability to use FS, should I consider buying an XBox system rather than springing for a new PC strong enough for FS?

Thank you for your help...I'll check those out!

Thanks for your recommendation. I'm looking forward to getting started.

If I am on the wrong forum, please direct me to the proper place. Thanks
Here is what I DO have:
I-7 4500 CPU 2.4 Ghz Laptop
600 GB of free disk
8GB RAM
GT 745M GeForce Video
2GB VRam
Windows 10
My question is, which FS should I purchase? I wish to learn to simulate flight well enough to be able to graduate eventually to "B-17, The Mighty 8th".
Also, what do I need with the software in way of stick/yoke, throttle, etc. to learn to do the above. Thanks for your help!
Hello everyone! Brand new to flight sim. I don't have software or hardware yet. Help!

Thanks UPHILL3
I have bought a new gaming laptop which has all the hardware I need to do well with my new FS 2020+. I just started to use it for beginning the flight instruction phase. I can only go so far, but I get stuck on going through the instruments. Once I get to the clock setting, it will not let me move on to the next voice prompt by the "training pilot". Any thoughts about how I can fix this? Or do I have bad software? Thanks.
