I am unable to have the vertical speed work for climbing and descending. I have turned the pitot heat on instead of keeping it at auto but that has no effect. At present the 320 and 321 are useless, it is very frustrating. I have no problem with the MSFS 787

You have set the barometric pressure? 18k is the level to do so.
not sure if my reply went through. So to repeat, I have set the barometric pressure at standard 29.92 at 18 k but have experience the problem at lower altitudes and also have problems with the descent being set at all altitudes

I have set the barometric pressure at standard 29.02 at 18 k. Still have the problem because it also happens below 18k

I am unable to make the altitude and vertical speed work at heights in excess of 18,000 feet. I was told to turn the pitot on from auto but that has not helped. Any advice is appreciated

Regarding the A320 and the A321 purchased from the marketplace, I am unable to get the Virtual Speed to work. It keeps returning to 0 while I am flying. I right and left click the inner and outer button but cannot get it to work. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Thanks to all who responded. It now works with disc 1 in the drive. The next problem is that the auto pilot in the 787 does not work well nor does it in the A 320. Is it something I am doing wrong? That said, the graphics are remarkable and worth moving up from Flight Sim X

Do you mean that after all 10 are downloaded and the registration code etc., is completed that it is necessary to always have disc 1 in the drive to operate as the handbook was silent on that point.

I downloaded all 10 discs, created a Microsoft account, entered my activation code but when I try to start the simulator I get a the cover page and a message "please insert Microsoft Flight Simulator game disc." There is no such disc and the support@aerosoft is worthless. Any solutions or do I have to reinstall?
