I’m thinking of buying a new Alienware R13 (i7-12700F, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6, 32 GB DDR5 4400 Mhz, 1 TB M.2 PCle SSD) for flight sims. Probably X Plane, but possible FS2020.
The general information seems to indicate this setup would be OK for flight sims, but some people report FS 2020 problems with Alienware R13s. I won’t be doing 4K or anything elaborate. Mostly SEL and some IFR, no air combat.
Anything I should be concerned about with this set up? I thought this would be the best place to ask this question.
I’ll also do a fair amount of business stuff (Word, Excel, Outlook), Photoshop and Lightroom, etc.
