Jesse was my uncle on my dads side and while I knew he flew P-51's I didn't know he also flew jugs. He was an inspiration, my dad always spoke of him. He would visit my dad in California now and then and paid us a visit or two in Las Vegas. I guess we're a service family of some sorts. My dad was in the AAF in England with B-17's. I was a KC-135 Boom Operator in the Air Force. He was a great man.
