  1. I know how to use the autopilot's and how to create a full flight plan with ILS approach.

I program FMS, GTN750, Garmin 1000's etc in Xplane and have no problems.

I'm also a real life pilot so it is not from lack of knowledge that the aircraft have a mind of their own.

I've verified flight models, settings etc.

Maybe it's just the airport of specific fixes that cause the beserk behaviors.

  2. I enjoy the challenge of IFR flights and different weather conditions.

If I want to just go joy riding I would fire up MFFS2020.

So I will hope the developers get the autopilots working so I can

    take advantage of MSFS..

As a side note, when I tried MSFS earlier today it was suppose to be raining.

Setting was on Real Weather but wasn't even close to actual conditions.

  3. I tried a flight in the A320 today.

Take off fine, engaged autopilot plane flew fine for about 10 minutes.

Never touched anything.... plane went into hard left turn and headed to ground.

    No mods.

    Tried another flight with Citation.

Take off fine, engaged autopilot flew fine 15 minutes then hard turn and dive.. black out.

My PC is Dell gaming PC I9 with 64gig of RAM.

I fly xplane 11 with no issues. I would like to fly MSFS2020 but at the moment I don't need the frustration.

  4. I watched the MSFS documentary last night and I DO appreciate the complexity of building a sim with

the accurate landscape, buildings, weather etc.

I got up this morning and decided to just make a scenic flight, no IFR.

I went to KSEZ and started to fly up Oak creek canyon in the TBM...

Shortly after leveling off and setting the autopilot for alt hold + heading the plane

suddenly took a hard right turn and nose dived to the ground :(

I a former RLP so I know how to fly and airplane.

Scenery is nice, but if the airplane is constantly crashing it takes the fun out of it.

BTW, I have a new Dell computer with 64 gig of RAM and an i9 processor.. not the computers fault.

  5. I've been leaving MSFS2020 sit for a week while I spent my time in Xplane11.

Just made two perfect flights of 50 miles with a perfect ILS approach.

Decide to try the same flight in 2020.

When I started it up it downloaded the latest1+ Terabyte update.

Loaded up a King Air C90 with the exact flight plan I had in X.

Plane followed the nav course, but offset to the line.

When it came to approach, the plane did the decent but was way off to the left of the runway.

Thought it was the plane, try the A320Neo. Same flight plan same ILS.

followed track to within 20 miles and then suddenly did a dive left and crashed!

    Just isn't right...

    back to Xplane11

  6. I've been flying the Citation and the autopilot seems to work fine following waypoints.

I have the final ILS programmed in. After the last transition when it is lined up on the

runway and following the glide slope it always drops below the glide pass to eventually fall

short of the runway if I don't disengage the AP and take over.

Has anybody else having this problem with Citation CJ?

  7. If your approach is activated, the aircraft will follow the transitions to the final approach.

You need to be at the intercept at the correct altitude. The autopilot should align you as needed.

If your just trying to intercept a location without autopilot I believe you need to intersect at about 45 degrees or less.. Some expert can correct me if I'm wrong. I only let the FMS do the approach.
