  1. @daspinall...the only update available for free is the Japan one. Thank you for taking the time to help me.

@g7rta I bought the standard version through amazon. I'm not sure if it was through steam or microsoft store. It had a 25 character install code. I flew it once and my mother board gave up on me. Replaced that and tried to reinstall but it said my code had already been used. 2 weeks of fiddling and I just decided I want to fly so I bought it again. Ouch, still hurts. It's working great but only two planes. Haven't checked the addded airports yet. It's been very frustrating, however I'm happy to see folks like ya'll taking time to add a helping hand. I checked microsoft store three dots and Japan was the only free. I hope to figure it out, but I'm going to go fly my two planes for a bit. Thanks both of ya for helping me. Tom

  2. Bought the game for second time and it works. However, joystick shows up in MSFS 2020 but has a big question mark on the screen showing it recognizes it. Doesn't work. Windows recognized when plugged in and said ready to use. Anyway to get it to work or do I have to buy another joystick. If so any recommendations for a reasonably priced one. Thank You.

Joystick: microsoft sidewinder precision pro. It's old but works on fsx and windows 8.1

  3. My initial gpu wouldn't run the game however, it downloaded and installed fine. I could start the game and access all the preflight menus. Hit "fly now" and it wouldn't run. Upgraded gpu to rtx 2070, running I7 @ 4.2ghz, 16gb ram. Now I get this:

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently not available in your account. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001. I googled and googled. Tried signing out of Microsoft store and resigning in. No luck. It's been a month since I bought this game and I'm dying to try it. Any ideas or help is Much appreciated.

Note: After install of msfs to hd, I had to replace my motherboard. I got it to start to the msfs splash screen once, but I can't get it to do that again. I bought it on amazon. I believe its from microsoft store. Can I uninstall and reinstall without paying again? Again, any thoughts at all will help me. I'm stuck. Thanks
