  1. I am a beginner through and through and am struggling with it, sure I have learnt a bit but charts and navigation in general are hard to follow and get a grip of youtube vids for the most part very good but they assume you know stuff like heading and setting up the aircraft some can be really hard to follow of course its up to me which I watch, but I don't want to be watching vids all the time.

I think I will give it another week or so and if I don't get anywhere I may well ditch it and call it a bad investment.

Only giving it a further week will not be enough.

I have been a flight simmer for over 25 years and still has something to learn.

It really takes time to learn the various aspects of flying.

You must learn Aircraft systems, procedures, navigation, weather, VFR and IFR flying and a ton of terms.

If You really want to learn about aviation - just hang on, search articles about navigation, buy or lend books about it, use Youtube (I did not have that option for the first half of my "carre'r").

Once You start getting to grips with it, it´s extremely rewarding, just don´t think that even a fraction can be learned within a couple of weeks.

Hone Your skills and expect to make many mistakes, but that's what a simulator is for.
