But arent the new build/versions updated automatically? mine did one yesterday, guess it was the 20H1
Yes, if you have it turned on.
"20H1" is the code name for the version (version 2004), not the Build.

For those of you not running Windows 10 version 1909 (19H2) build 18362.0 or higher, you should upgrade. The latest upgrade to Windows 10, is version 2004 (20H1) Build 19041.450. It was released the end of May 2020 with the latest revision 8/11/20.
Background:
When I originally preordered the premium edition from my Microsoft account, it listed the OS requirements as "Windows 10 version 18362.0 or higher". Mine was 18362.959, so I figured it was ok.
During the transaction a popup said none of my systems are compatible, (My MS account page lists all my computers). My desktop is well qualified so I was thrown for a loop.
After posting my dilemma on this forum I was made aware that I need version 1909 or higher. The version was not stated on the preorder website, only the Build number 18362.0 or higher. The version number IS on the Windows Central website which I didn’t see.
It would have saved me hours of time and frustration had the preorder page listed BOTH the version and the build.
Hope this clarifies the issue for any others who may be confused.
And thanks to this forum for pointing me in the right direction.

Interesting, the MS Store where you order says the 17th at 9:00 am
My order confirmation says the 17th.
My letter says the 18th.
No matter, I'll be flying high soon!!!

Great! thanks for the screenshot. I hadn't seen that. I was just going by what they said on the purchase page.

Another thought... on which website were you trying to order it and had you entered your credit/debit card details? You may have another problem
In flightsim, you ll have to learn to avoid scam popups first
Thank you all for your replies.
I'm coming back to MSFS after 22 years ('98). Started in '85, so i'm not aware of FS scams.
I purchased through my MS account and was logged in at the time. My purchase shows up on my MS purchased items page.
i sure hope all of you are right and everything goes smoothly on the 17th.
Fingers crossed!!!

I think that's your problem. On the Microsoft requirements they have:
Windows 10 Nov 2019 update (1909)
Oh wow, I hope you're right. MS only lists "Windows 10 version 18362.0 or higher" as a requirement.
i already paid and going to dl and try to install anyway.
thanks,

Question – has anyone else had this happen?
During my preorder of MSFS2020 Premium Deluxe edition I got a popup saying my system didn’t meet the minimum requirements without saying why.
I’m running:
W10 OS 10.0.18362.959 (Win10 RS6 [1903] May 2019 Update) 64bit
Integrated Keyboard and mouse
DirectX 12
32G memory
8G video ram
QuadCore Intel Core i7-7700K, 4400 MHz (44 x 100)
Graphics MSI GTX 1080 Armor OC (MS-V336)
824G free on my boot ssd
2.6T free on my hd
I’ve been on the phone with MS all afternoon being passed around to someone else who may have the answer to no avail.
I’m thinking this may just be a glitch.
Has anyone else had this happen? Or do you see anything else it may be?
Thanks,

Right. I didn't have it turned on, so it didn't update in November. I usually wait a bit, but this time I forgot.
