  1. Hi there,

I am looking for an (experienced) developer/designer who's able and willing to create a virtual cockpit for FSX. It will be an upgrade/modification of the PC-7 2.0 model by Tim 'Piglet' Conrad. Current gauges are outdated, so it'll need a glass cockpit. I can provide the new layout.

The cockpit will be used for an experiment with student pilots in an airforce squadron that uses the PC-7. I am currently in charge of leading the experiment, but I lack the skills to design something like this.

Send me a personal message if you can help me out or just post below. Thanks in advance!

  2. I think this explains it rather well:

    https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/fsx-my-tutorial-on-how-to-use-default-vc-with-3rd-party-addon-planes.17996209/

pay attention to the MDLXMDLH and MDL8MDLH part in the explanation. And to the part about the eyepoint.

(although, now that I look at it again I see the eyepoint adjustment is not explained all that well in the thread. So you may need to google more threads about that detail at some point.)

    have fun:D

Thanks, will give it a go!

  3. Hi,

Could use some advice. I'm trying to update (outdated) cockpit of a PC-7 model with the new one (MkII). I tried using FS Panel Studio, but this only gives me a 2D cockpit (obviously). How should I approach this? The gauges in the MkII are correct. If possible, I'd like to drag them around a bit to fit the real model ;) Thanks in advance.

2 pics, 1 is the main model with the old cockpit. 2 is the new cockpit from a different model. They probably aren't compatible to just 'drag and drop', so any advice is appreciated. 3DS Max for example?
