  1. Click/hold the right mouse button used to allow me to pan the view inside the cockpit and the same when in the exterior view. It still works in the exterior view but no longer in cockpit view since the latest update. The settings seem the same for both views.

I've tried single and double clicking the mouse wheel first with no effect. I've tried changing the binding for Freelook from middle button (which I don't have) to right click/hold but no success.

I've submitted a ticket, but have little expectation MS will respond in this lifetime....

I've searched the web but see no mention, although a few guys on the MSFS sight also have the issue.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

    Jeff

  2. Set your Graphics/Tesselation Quality to at least High, or Ultra if your system can handle it.

Not sure what "Tesselation" is but all settings are on high except motion blur which is medium. BTW, I did empty my Community folder before the install and tried the update with empty community folder. I tried increasing Objects Level of Detail and Terrain Level of Detail from 150 to 175 but it had no effect.

  3. I have tested the unlimited fuel with A320, 747 and a couple prop planes. IT DOESN'T WORK.

Submitted a bug report to Zen desk and a couple days later they replied 'problem solved'. But there's no indication when we'll see a fix. Further research reveals this bug has been around a while and previously reported but I can't find it any list.

The only solution I have is to use this app - https://flightsim.to/file/3181/fspm-vfr-map

The app has a 'jump' feature so if crossing the Atlantic you jump a couple times and each time use the tool bar at top of screen to refuel.

I also like the jump feature because you can jump many times on a flight unlike the similar feature included in MSFS.

  4. This free app seems to have the ability to produce better curves then MSFS2020 allows. It inserts a virtual joystick between your joystick and the simulation. I only found one video describing it - once you get past his accent it does help you set it up. But I've been unsuccessful in getting it to work within MSFS. If you have any experience with this or a better alternative please let me know.

The link for the app is http://www.xedocproject.com/joystickcurves.html

    Thanks!

  5. Using the "Realistic Flight Mode" I've had a great deal of flight stability issues with the smaller prop planes - less so with the large airliners.

Tonight I discovered a solution - under the General section there is an option for flight modes. If you switch to alternate flight mode you can adjust sensitivity just like in FSX. It may actually be the FSX flight mode. For the first time I was able to land the 172 successfully. Still somewhat more sensitive then FSX but a much more pleasant experience.
