  2. First of all FSRecorder V2.0 (2010) works better and is more stable. You HAVE to uninstall V1.0 before you install V2.0.

Did you read the PDF to get info as to how the installer works? You can also do 'Manual Install' as is described in the PDF. So you don't have to install it to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\FSRecorder....'.

Just put the 'fsrecorder_dll' in the 'modules' folder (under FSX main folder) and then edit the XML file (at 'Documents and Settings\[uSER]\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX). Your edit will be to the PATH (where FSRecorder_dll is) which is now 'FSX\modules' folder. Right? Right! Then when you start FSX fsrecorder will be activated and you will see it's menu on top edge of FSX window (press and hold 'Alt' key to see). Not too hard. Just take your time. Read the PDF 'Installation' page. It will work. Cheers.

Doesn't work, I can get on the FSX launcher, but when I want to start a flight it doesn't load and crashes after a few seconds. Deleted FS Recorder and now FSX doesn't crash anymore

  3. Good morning/afternoon/evening,

I have a problem with the FS recorder. I have the 1.3 version for FSX:SE, now it worked fine until Saturday evening, when I was recording a take-off from Schiphol, and I wanted to save that part of the recording (I always record the take-off and landing), so I typed in the name of the file, clicked save and it suddenly freezes, and crashes, and since then I get the following error message when launching FSX: Knipsel.PNG

I've reinstalled it multiple time with no success, looked into the dll.xml, where I saw this:

    FS Recorder Module

    False

    False

    C:\Program Files (x86)\FS Recorder for FSX\RecorderFSX.dll

And I read on a other forum that that shouldn't be there, so I removed it, I could launch it the first time, only to test it out if I would get the error message again. Of which I didn't get. Satisfied I closed FSX to do something else, launch FSX and i get the same error message again? So typed the Module back, but still the same. Reinstalled SimConnect but still the same error pops up when launching FSX. when I press yes FSX will crash after a few seconds, when I press no FSX will run normal but not FS recorder

  4. Hello, I noticed a few days ago this weird issue at Perm airport with the 737 aircraft (I don't know if it's common): When I do auto land for runway 21, I have configurated the aircraft correctly for landing and so on, and then I notice it is not aligned with the runway but with a taxiway next to it? I have the default scenery of FSX, and I don't have this with other airports. And yesterday I noticed that some waypoints at Eindhoven are gone since the new update? Like TILVU, RUSAL, EH574? I still have AIRAC 1108, I had the issue with the runways, changed it back to the default runways: 22/04 with the hdg track. But didn't know the waypoints are gone? I have also recently bought and installed the PMDG 777-200, not tested it out but I am sure I will have the same thing on that aircraft. I was gone for a while and did something else. So maybe I missed some updates regarding it? I don't have navigraph. I also noticed that 36R has no SIDS anymore
  5. @jethrom: Thanks, I thought I remembered that post...because I was the one that moved it into the PMDG user to user forum. There are responses to his question. The server has been a little futzy lately and may be the cause of limited response.

Possible corrupted font(s)? Dave also states that it only happens with PMDG aircraft.

Can you read? I said it happens with FsPassengers too, that's why I posted a screenshot of the PMDG 737 FMC (have the same on the MCDU of the Aerosoft A320) and the flight info thing (blue) of the FsPassengers

  6. PC specs:

    Windows 10 home

    Model: Medion PC

    Processor: Intel Core i3-7100 3.90GHz 3.91 GHz

    64-bit with 8,00 GB RAM

Monitor is a Philips FTV with resolution of 1920x1080 (originally a combi of computer and television, now it's only computer)

    I have FSX:SE

  7. Hello, recently I bought a new PC with Windows 10. And since then the text on the FMC is unreadable and also on the blue thing on the left screen of FSPassengers the text is also unreadable:

    Knipsel2.PNG Knipsel1.PNG

How can I fix this (asked the same question on Simviation and AVsim and they completely ignore me)

  8. Hello, I have two issues: I have AIFP3 and my FSX:SE is in D Drive (Windows 10) but AIFP3 gives a error that no flightsim is found

    Screenshot:

    VHnN6ok.png

And I also have a issue with WOAI:

When I want to install the AI traffic into FSX:SE A error that a aircraft is not found (e.g. DJC_A319 not found) and also much more aircraft occurs. I had to reinstall FSX and Steam because it was placed in C Drive while it should be in D Drive.

  9. Hello, I have made a soundai folder for some AI aircraft from WOAI, copied it from the default 737-800 (CFM 7B26 sounds) and the 747-400 (RR-Trent sounds) to the folder (not mixed them up, in a seperate folder) and put it in the folders of the WOAI aircraft (CFM 7B26 in Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 NG (AIA, DJC, FAIB), RR-Trent in A330, A340, 747, 757, 767 and 777 (AIG, FSP and TFS)), but for some reason the sound is still the same as the default AI sound, am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks in advantage

  10. 1: Check the trim of the aircraft - through balance of weight an luggage of pax and volume and location of fuel. THEN adjust nose-up trimsetting to something more appropriate. You MUST know how to operate a complex aircraft before you try and use one...

2: 25,000 ft is the height at which `speed` shifts from IAS to Mach. Knowing this set the Mach readig well in advance (say FL230) so that the transition is handled correctly - again this is a function of know just how to fly a simulated complex model correctly.

3: Smmooooooth and slow start-up is a prerequisite of modern high-bypass turbofan engines. Why do you think it should work any other way?

`Engine bleed` has nothing to do with start-up. Bleed air controls engine ancillaries such as pressurisation and pumps. Modern jet engines will only slowly gain RPM until roughly 70-75% of correct operating range, particularly from starting when fuel needs to be added correctly to avoid stalling or burning the engines, and you probably need to read up on this, if you haven't already realised how little you know...

I know little about the Airbus because I fly the Boeing 737 a lot

  11. Hello,

I have three problems with my Project Airbus A320 Family:

    1. With taking off the nose won't lift off at Vr speed (150 knots), but would lift off at 200 knots and after overrunning the runway (it lifts off very slowly and I have to put all of my power on the joystick), after lifting off it will immediately go into a steep climb and is it almost impossible to put the nose down (only when I reduce the throttles but it will lead the plane into a stall if I don't increase the throttles quickly)

    2. When reaching 25,000 feet I hear a "ping" and notice that the IAS on the autothrottle has switched by himself to Mach, and I see the throttles increasing, I try to put it back to IAS but no success, even after turning off the autothrottle (and reduced the throttles a bit) it won't go back to IAS. I even immediately descended when reaching 25,000 feet and after hearing the "ping" and to my shock after I changed it back to IAS with success below 25,000 feet I see that the IAS indicates 999 knots on the autothrottle for some reason

    3. The Engine will start up very slowly when I press on Engine one under the throttles and on eng BLEED on the overhead (I am using basically the same method on the A320 Fam as on the 737)

So, am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change something in both the aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg? If yes: Where and how?

    Thanks in advantage

  12. Hello

Since my PMDG 737 didn't work because I don't have the activation key, and it is too expensive to get a new one, and since I downloaded it for the realism (Virtual Cockpit and Cabin and lights), I was looking the whole internet for this feature to add (realistic cockpit and virtual cabin with views of the wing from the windows and realistic lights) to my Default 737-800 for free, because the default 737-800 looks pretty boring to me: Unrealistic cockpit and lights (internal and external lights), no view of the wings from the cockpit windows and no virtual cabin. Does anyone know where I can get that feature for the Default 737-800?

    Thanks in advantage
