Hi! I predominantly fly across Europe, lately flying the nice Carenado GA aircraft. I used to fly tubeliners, but now I'm having more fun flying low and slow.

Ocasionaly I head over to other continents, North and South America, and I love to fly in New Zealand, especially since it is now winter there. I love to look at the winter scenery.

I haven't even tried MSFS. I am still very happy using FS2004, FSX, and P3d v4.5, which runs beautifully on my rig. 

I wasn't remotely interested in MSFS. And can't say now I am going to buy the newest version.

I also have bought so many fantastic add ons throught the years, still enjoy them!

Sorry to put it this way, but it's what we Niners have to contend with in a World of ever shrinking Resources and age of the Software. We can only make do with what's out there.

 

Grab some Drink and Snacks, make yourself comfortable and start perusing the File Libraries at all of the 'big' FlightSim sites to search out what you're looking for. All of us high time old farts had to do it this way BITD... and so will you. Good Hunting!

Thanks, I already knew this, so I installed to the C:\ folder. Have done everything else but no luck this time.

So I decided t install using the disks, which went fine. But now, when I want to apply the FS9.1 Update, I get an update error type 34...

I`m having troubles installing FS2004 in W10. I am installing from an USB stick, and this used to work a couple of years ago.

When I doubleclick Setup, nothing happens. Just nothing.

I am thinking about buying a new pc with the ryzen 7 7700x cpu. I know that back in the day Intel was the way to go with FSX, but I was wondering how fsx runs on these Ryzen cpu's

You can easily mix HJG early jets for the late '50s and early '60s along with the CalClassic propliners.

I am in the market for a new PC, which comes with a pre installed Windows 11 Home edition...

I will mainly use the PC to use FSX and P3D v4

Can I run both on Windows 11 Home without problems, or do I need the W11 Pro edition?
