Never a truer word spoken. Over a miliion downloads and what ??? maybe 15 people saying how bad it is. Only have to see how many people are experiencing issues in the other Sim forums and they have been around for years. Some people cannot accept change for the better.

MSFS is already streets ahead and will only get better.

I bought an XBox controller Power A Spectra wired one the other day. It was $79.95AU and works great.

Just remember if you are using 2 screens the cursor has to be on the main display otherwise it won,t work and you can finish in some funny situations when you do, I have plenty of USB port so it suits me.

Question 2. The way we play multiplayer is to use a third party conversation app ( Discord )

other types are available. Very important that you are on the same server ( Drop down under your logo top right of the screen) otherwise you wont see the other player you want to fly with, just everyone who is on the same server as you are now. May be not the perfect solution but one that works for us.

PS. Discord support TXT and video via webcam.

Another way could be create a room in Facebook messenger or ZOOM. Multiple players could join in as well

My XPlane 11 and FSX are now sleeping on an external HD. Do miss a couple of their planes though.

Also most asked questions are already subject of discussion in this and other forums. Let their fingers do the walking.

First. Does anyone know if and how to contact another live flyer visible in the area you are in. I am thinking first I will need a headset to get going.

Secondly, I am in Australia and wondering if there are others who would like to plan and meet up for some joint VFR trips around the country. Maybe a Aus Facebook page where dates, locations and times can be organized and or do we divulge our email and mobile numbers to see who is available and want to join in.

Just think it would be a bit of fun having some mates on a fly in to places like Hamilton Island etc

Flying around as VH-MLY (used to be my C182 Skylane back in the late 70s and early 80,s )

On the initial download the C:User/data folder came up as the destination but there was an option to locate the download to my dedicated D: drive. That was where I used to have FSX and XPlane but I moved all the files to another external drive before downloading 2020. All I had to do was create a new Flt Sim folder in the root directory and bingo everything went there okay. Couple of issues getting the second 95 gb of data downloaded but probably because of the high demand at the moment. My connection was about 30mps and it took around 5 hours to DL. Music while downloading is horrible so hope they change that.

PS. You may experience the download failing to start the second part. Just shut it down and restart it a couple of times.

I didnt have to move it. There was an option to install to a different directory or hard drive> Just made a new :Flight Sim: directory on my new SSD and sent it there for install..

Going to take a while to DL. nearly two hours now and about 10% showing as downloaded with a 35GB download speed

My download did the same thing about 4 times. Nice funeral music while nothing happened. I shut it down and went to the Windows 10 Apps and restarted it a couple of times. Went through the startup screens then suddenly it opened a new download for aircraft and tutorials etc. It is another 95GB of downloads so I reckon at 35Gb download speed it will be a while. I did have a new 500gb SSD just for MS2020 so thats where its going at the moment.. Max

Hi Guys, I just reinstalled the 737NGX and updated from PMDG. When I try to set speed, altitude and vertical speed they will only decrease. Speed starts at 100 and will not increase and vertical speed will keep going to +6000 or more.

Both pilot and copilot FD are activated. Doesn't matter which side of the dials I touch they all decrease. Any ideas?
