ok, after looking more, I now can go into virtual cockpit and it will pan and zoom. I swear I tried that before. I wanted it to do this under views, view mode,cockpit, cockpit. I can live with this by switching to virtual cockpit. Thanks poak for your reply. Reed

Haven't used FSX in a year and went back in to fly. I used to be able to move the mouse around the cockpit and scroll (zoom in and out) with the mouse. Now, I just get the cross when I hit the space bar. Have researched this site extensively and have tried everything, i.e., hit the space bar, yoke lock, etc, but nothing has worked. I need to move around the cockpit and zoom in to enable certain items. Would really appreciate it if someone could help me enable the mouse to work. Thanks

Do the items in red go under CameraDefinition.002 ?
Or, are they added to CameraDefinition.001 ?
