When I'm in 2d cockpit view press W or CTRL + 1, etc, a box flashes on the screen for half a second and disappears. Panels won't display at all, in any aircraft, whether I select them thru kb shortcuts or clicking thru the menus. Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm running the latest edition from Steam.
Cockpit view displays no panels at all. This has always been the case on this (recent) install.
