Okay so I think I have a problem with SbuilderX. When I select Show Backgorund with Google Sattelite, it still displays white instead of the area. And it is stuck at 1 tile remaining or 2 tiles remaining! Help please? :(

Hi daniel,
Yes. The same scenery created for the disc version will work in the Steam version.

Great! Thanks!!!!!

Hi,
I would like to know if I can make my own scenery for FSX Steam? Thanks.
-
uh... sure? :)
apparently no vids on youtube are showing hw to get it, so I think it is just an easter egg, or a lie, or something.
oh well, just a reward!

so...
does anyone even know how to get it? Im pretty into missions, because that's what keeps fsx entertaining, unlike x-plane which is just a huge free flight.

The FSX beta badge was awarded for some Mission rescuing mountain climbers or some odd thing I don't have. I would think that somewhere inside of the FSX main folder should be a file with all possible badges and rewards that are given out for the Sim you are using. There is a folder called Rewards with some files I can seem to open.
My bet is that badge was created but a Mission was never really created or finished when Acceleration was released.
Hello!
You are right, MrZippy! You flying the mission "denali base camp charter" and you rescue the climber and land at the airport, and youll get a success message. then fly to 3ak3 or something like that, and park beside the other aircraft there. then turn your engines off, and you get the reward.

I have the FSX Beta X badge... it is 2015 now... over 10 years since it's release.
-
I have FSX Steam, so it includes the acceleration expansion pack as well.

Hello! According to http://www.fsxrewards.com/rewards/index.html there is no such award.
Perhaps it comes from an add-on.
Hi!
But according to simtours.net, it has one. It is the first one on the page. It looks like a F/A-18 Hornet with a fancy white B beside it.
Link to simtours.net:

Hey daniel,
Rather than prolong this I've uploaded the mission to Box. Although the mission was released as freeware I wanted to give anyone who may have been involved in it's creation an opportunity to weigh in. Here's the link:

I think it demonstrates rather conclusively that, if delays due to human reaction and the need for voice communication were factored out of the equation the aircraft could have landed safely on a runway. It's also probable that the collision with birds would have been prevented if the radar data had been properly evaluated. If all the data available had been properly networked and evaluated these human errors could have been removed. Heck, we could even call the system Skynet!

Hey jandjfrench!
I just got the mission!
Do you have any mission pack that is 10-20 dollars on fspilotshop.com that you like?
I really like mission.
Thanks,
Daniel

Hello!
I'm also just seeing if you have any suggestions for a mission pack that is $10-$20...
Thank you for suggestion!

Hi daniel,
As I said in my initial post here, the site is no longer in existence. That is why I offered to upload the file to Box if you were unable to locate it elsewhere.
Jim F.
Hello jandjfrench!
sorry... wasn't looking

From "flightsimulatorxmissions.com". It hosted a multitude of fine missions.
In case you're not aware, with FSX you have the ability to program random system failures in any aircraft. With this you're not restricted to a particular aircraft, exact location, or time.
Thank you for your kind help!
I would check that website now! The missions look fun!
Thank you,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
There was a "Miracle on the Hudson" mission on the now defunct "FSX Missions Forum". I don't know if it's available elsewhere but if not I could upload it to BOX so you could get it from there. If it turns out that anyone involved with the creation of the mission has any problems with this I'll simply delete it.
Jim F.
where do you get that?

Also try here. they have a couple of demos to try. http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd500!40,6788142760,D10540
thanks! I just got it...
haven't tried it yet, but hopefully it is good!

Hello everyone,
I have been searching all over the Internet to find some missions for FSX. There are barely any mission that require you to land a commercial plane because something is wrong with the aircraft. I just want to know if you have any good missions you might recommend me to download. I would like it if the aircraft's engines are on fire or failed and then you have to land the plane for a mission. Or maybe just a one that you have to make an emergency landing. A mission pack would be awesome as well!
Engine fire, fuel leaks, and those stuff wrong with the engines make it very interesting! Anything around $10-$20 would be okay as well!
Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Daniel
