Looking for an Allegiant B757- that is compatible with P3D v4. (I've checked here, Simviation, and Avsim with no luck. Info appreciated.

if you're looking for freeware, which, your selections seem to indicate, then I would recommend the TDS or Project opensky one.  however, if you are willing to pay a little bit, you can't go wrong with the Qualitywings 757.  and Avsim has a great livery for Allegiant using the Qualitywings model. likewise, if you want to spend a little more, there is the Captain Sim version of the 757, with a more complicated cockpit, but also has an allegiant livery native to its livery manager.

  2. Thanks Michael! Meh, it was just a chemtrail flight anyway, only me and the copilot onboard, lol.

Nope, separate charge for P3D v4+. Cheap though @ $15 bucks? I dug up my original purchase details last night and I paid $45 bucks for it back in 2010! I do have an installer for FSX and I still have FSX installed so I think I might give it a try in FSX before I pony-up for the v4.5 version.

be aware, this thing likes to shoot up like a rocket!

  3. Sorry, I didn't get my reply into your 13 minute wndow.

It sounds like the aircraft radius is set wrongly on the aircraft concerned.

In the aircraft.cfg flie, under [airplane_geometry] change the wing_span= setting as required. Note that this in feet (not meters) and is diameter rather than radius so it should work out to double the defined gate size.

It's cool. I actually haven't done anything drastic yet. I just thought i would add that shortly after posting. I will look into that!

  4. So, out of curiosity, went to look up the PMDG 737 NGX and found that PMDG no longer offers the FSX compatible 737 NGX, even for direct download from their site (they did say on the forum that it is temporarily still offered on Aerosoft's site). Did they ever release why this is the case? Not mad, just curious why such a popular product would have this happen.
  5. Nicely done! I to have been putting off really learning the FMC. I even have the basic instructions printed. One of these days I will get serious about it.

I actually have been getting seriously into learning to use FMC, especially now that I am flying with a VA (picture documentation of those flights coming). once you learn the FMC, you will have a hard time going back to not using one! it just makes flying so easy!
