  1. I've used FS2004 until recently when I bought a new PC and migrated to every sim afterwards... FSX, P3d, Xplane and MSFS.... as a very experienced developer I can tell you, FS2004 is way better than FSX, you can find lots of addons and scenery you wont find in X. fps are great in old systems and updating it is very easy.... you can even use many free addons to make it look par to FSX. and it has many many aircraft not available for X.... So I highly recommend to stay in the 9. and go directly to MSFS as soon as you have a new PC. cheers!
  2. Hi

I was tired trying to find a solution for the frames problem with the Wilco E-jets and 737 models when using Windows 8, 8,1 and 10 and Wilco stupidly is not offering support for the latest windows, so I decided to do it myself... Im publishing this because I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue and there is no other place where solution for this matter has been given so far so here it is:

    First

Find the Feelthere folder and locate the SETUP program that enables to setup the frames per second and other graphic settings and use any setup you want, then right click on the icon and use compatibility mode for windows 7 and run as administrator.

    Second

Run Fs2004 only as administrator, DO NOT USE any compatibility mode.

    That's it

Now you will find the frames run as smooth as you used to have on win 7.

    best regards

    Rodolfo :D
