I am getting a bit confused here.
This is now my [Lights] coordinates in aircraft.cfg :
[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0=4, 78.50, 1.35, 5.00, fx_shockwave_vclight_l ,
light.1=4, 78.50, -1.35, 5.00, fx_shockwave_vclight_l ,
light.2=9, -55, -19.0, -3.5, fx_GA_CONCORDE_AFTERBURNER
light.3=9, -55, -15.0, -3.5, fx_GA_CONCORDE_AFTERBURNER
light.4=9, -55, 16.2, -3.5, fx_GA_CONCORDE_AFTERBURNER
light.5=9, -55, 20.2, -3.5, fx_GA_CONCORDE_AFTERBURNER
light.6=7, -60.0, -19.0, -2.0, fx_contrail_s
light.7=7, -60.0, -15.0, -2.0, fx_contrail_s
light.8=7, -60.0, 15.8, -2.0, fx_contrail_s
light.9=7, -60.0, 19.8, -2.0, fx_contrail_s
light.10=2, -39.0, -38.0, -2.30, fx_shockwave_strobe_2 ,
light.11=2, -39.0, 38.0, -2.30, fx_shockwave_strobe_2 ,
light.12=3, -34.9, -35.0, -2.30, fx_shockwave_navred ,
light.13=3, -34.9, 35.0, -2.30, fx_shockwave_navgre ,
light.14=2, -101.95, 0, 7.45, fx_shockwave_beaconh_l ,
light.15=10,-10, 0, -3.5, fx_GALConcordeFOG,
light.16=10,-10, 0, -3.5, fx_GARConcordeFOG,
light.17=8, 80, 0, 0, fx_RCB_machenvlop ,
light.18=5, 44.0, 0.0, -6.0, fx_Shockwave_landing_light , //Shockwave light
and I have now tried changing the landing light to nose gear in panel [Vcockpit01].
gauge04=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light
Every light from light.0 to light.17 works perfectly but no light.18 no matter where I place it???
-
But these coordinates.........light.18=5, 43.420, 7.50, 0.370, fx_Shockwave_landing_light , are placed in the original position of the Navgre light. (which I moved to the wingtip)??
-
These are the only other lights in the [lights] section
light.10=2, -39.0, -38.0, -2.30, fx_shockwave_strobe_2 ,
light.11=2, -39.0, 38.0, -2.30, fx_shockwave_strobe_2 ,
light.12=3, -34.9, -35.0, -2.30, fx_shockwave_navred ,
light.13=3, -34.9, 35.0, -2.30, fx_shockwave_navgre ,
light.14=2, -101.95, 0, 7.45, fx_shockwave_beaconh_l ,
There are three landing lights which are controlled from the aircraft panel but I assume they are from the Model File? As they are not shown in the aircraft.cfg file?

Hello all
On Concorde X (Arrow Air version) I cannot get any Shockwave landing lights to work?
I have copiied and pasted from the manual to [Vcockpit01] the following:
gauge04=shockwave_lights!SW Lights, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light
I have also copied and pasted the following into the aircraft.cfg [Lights] section as follows:
light.18=5, 43.420, 7.50, 0.370, fx_Shockwave_landing_light , //Shockwave light
light.19=5, 43.420, -7.50, 0.370, fx_Shockwave_landing_light , //Shockwave light
I even used a position close to the aircrafts existing Landing lights. I was hoping to make the shockwave's into taxi lights as there are no taxi lights with this aircraft!!
Kind regards

Hello Brian
Thank you so much for your reply.
I never even saw this version during my searches, but maybe that is because I only put V-22 instead of V-22B into the search box!!
I will now make this V-22B into a Mach 1 version. I know how to do this.
Many thanks once again

Hello folks
I have FSX Steam and fly mainly one aircraft, an add-on (FS2004) Bell-Boeing V22 Mach 1 (I like getting to places reletively fast)
However, this aircraft has blank outside views. I just see the scenery all around me.
Is there any way that I can add, for example, the edges of the panel when my joystick hat switch is pushed forward right and forward left?
Many thanks

Hello all
I have sorted out the aircraft rolling problem by adjusting the figures in the [Weight and Balance] section of the aircraft.cfg file as follows:
empty_weight =60000.000000
empty_weight_roll_MOI =1500000.000000
empty_weight_pitch_MOI =3000000.000000
empty_weight_yaw_MOI =2000000.000000
empty_weight_coupled_MOI =0.000000
max_gross_weight =90000.000000

I have sped up my default B737-800 by using a faster .air file and adjusting several parameters in the aircraft.cfg file.
However, this has caused the aircraft to sway (roll) from side to side, even though it still holds the set autopilot heading.
How can I stop this gradual rolling from side to side? Have I a wrong parameter(s) in my aircraft.cfg file?
Many thanks
-
I seem to have sorted it out.
Instead of using the Auto start key, I changed the Button to "Starter All (on/off)." Press this once then turn on the four individual Engine Control Switches on the B747 Throttle Quadrant.
Many thanks for your input

Thank you for your advice.
I do use the Automatic startup command and also N1 and N2 do spin up correctly.
However, I will try a different Throttle Quadrant and see if that rectifies the situation
-
I fly the four engine Bae146-100 and it takes a month of Sunday's to fire up the engines (I use the default B747 Throttle Quadrant).
I have tried several different sound sets but always the same long delay.
Is there any parameter within the aircraft.cfg (or another file) which will shorten the startup time?
Many thanks

Hello
I have done it by a lot of trial and error!!!
Changed the Default View at the bottom of the Panel.cfg file to SIZE_Y=6143
Thank you for your interest

Hello
Is there any way to remove the solid black rectangles which appear when using the hat-switch in the forward left and the forward right positions?
These rectangles seem to happen when using some (but not all) third party panels and are the same shape as a panel?
Many thanks
Frank

I think I may have resolved this.
The copy and paste from the [exits] section of aircraft.cfg file below.
I disabled the bottom line and the chocks have vanished?
[exits]
number_of_exits=4
exit_rate.0=0.15
exit_rate.1=0.15
exit_rate.2=0.15
exit_rate.3=0.15
//exit.1=0.05, -18.3, 7.8, -2.0, 1 //FSX Cars

I am not sure what you mean by pop-up panel?
Do you mean in the Panel.cfg file?
It is a freeware ATR72 by ISDT
-
I have an ATR72 which is nice to fly but the yellow Nosewheel Brake Chocks and a Rear Support Stand remain showing at all times including whilst in flight ?
How can I stop this please ?
Many thanks

Hello folks
I have the following under [General]

Hello
When using the radio and asking for Class D airspace transition, how does one get the aircraft type "B787 Dreamliner" included in the transmission. All I get is aircraft type "Boeing" ?
I am guessing the I have to place some sort of line/reference in the aircraft.cfg file ?
Shockwave Redux Landing Lights not showing.
