Rory, I really hope you'll find the strength to help your Mother in her final stage, its the only thing you can do for her. Pity you're too far away to support you in person my friend.

I had the same bird in 2002 myself, it's a beauty.

Just arrived back from the clinic, my parents are both in a "secured" part, we have to go to court now so I can take over their finances and other things. We have to "empty" their house, 3 floors of memories......

Ofcourse I liked the loop! (though i'm still recovering lol) My mother called yesterday afternoon in panic, the nurse who should take care of my Dad din't show up, so Bianca and I had to wash him and to help him on the closet, he felt so very humiliated. I made some furious phonecalls and in the evening another nurse came to help my dad.

Besides that I have to fight for my job, I'm selling heavy trucks and the truckmarket is under very high pressure in Western Europe. But, Bianca has a great job, we don't have any debts and we're healthy, and that's the most important thing. Greets to you and the lady!

Thanks VERY much for your thoughts, it means a lot! My dad is 90 years old and very ill now. We're grateful about his age, but it's hard to see your good old Dad in such a bad condition. Thanks again to you and Mrs. Thindog from Bianca and me!
