Here’s a G1000 video that may be of interest.
Enjoy. -Ron

Try this: press "C" on the keyboard.I'm wondering if there is a way to still fly the plane while you're in the showcase mode? ........... -
Buggy. Gotta ensure highest zoom level and even then it won't always show in the info window. The frequencies are displayed in an info panel on the flight planning map when you 'zoom in to details' of your arrival airport and click on the localizer icon at the end of each runway. .............. -
No.Do you have to eliminate assignments on the keyboard for your throttle and flaps to work properly ???? -
Thx, yes, I now see that if I SELECT a module, option buttons appear. The 100 listed packages are separate so that if they only need to update one of the packages, they don't have to give you a 78gb full core component package. They can update only the package that needs updating. -
does it say "Core Content Mandatory Packages"? 79.8gb? That's the Update that happened during the install.
Yes. I suspect that's already installed, and is greyed out because it's essential.
But what's with that content manager anyway? If I select any of those other components, I don't see any menu of actions to perform on it. None.

. Just a guess - perhaps too many hardware interruptions. Would suggest unplugging usb peripherals (except controllers needed to fly), reboot & try again.PAN PAN PANGreetings!
Here is my issue: When I open MFS2020, I get thru the opening screens, then to the "press any key" screen. (Awesome shot of SFO, BTW!) Press "any" key, get the settings screen, it begins to download, then after 5 min or so, up pops the "blue screen of FRUSTRATION!" with the following message: NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS. (I have also gotten "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED)
What the heck does this mean???
........
Also the event viewer might have clues.

Many more like that. (So much for guesses í ½í¸š)

So your saying that the window closes and the program is still running, It just crashes and not running
It was not a window, it was the "press any key" screen, which (in my case, at least) appeared as full screen with no controls on it at all. I pressed several keys with absolutely no apparent response of any kind. I waited about ten minutes, then hit ctrl-alt-del and the task manager came up and showed that the load on my cpu and gpu was "very high". So I walked away and stayed away about an hour - hard to do LOL. I don't remember keystroke by keystroke what I did on return, but I THINK the content management screen was showing. If not, it only took a few keystrokes for it to appear. I assume this is the "blue bar" screen folks are referring to. I don't remember color, but there was a progress bar ending in ~95gb. When I hit the button in lower right (I forget the caption), the download started immediately, and finished without interruption fewer than 2 hours later. (This is with ethernet connection to modem and ~400mbps download bandwidth.)
Sorry I can't remember precisely what I did, but that's the gist of it. I do believe than when you activate the "press any key" screen, the computer will work to establish an effective handshake - or should I say elbow bump ;) - with the MS server. This can be very slow during this high traffic time, but the best policy would be to leave it alone unless you're absolutely sure there's no internet activity.
Wish you success.

Believe me, I have tried everything, For what ever reason, It will not connect to the server to do the main install .
How do you know it’s not connected? I just went through the exact same process. After “press any keyâ€, the screen appeared to freeze. But the task manager showed there was plenty of activity in both the cpu and the GPUs. So I left it grinding away and after maybe 30 mins, the download started.
