How do I activate Pause at Top of Descent in Boeing aircraft in the FMC , or this function inoperable?

However it does work with the default A320NEO .
Maybe I am missing a step in the FMC setup which seems more comprehensive when downloading a flight plan from SimBrief in the A20NX .

Same problem for me . I will be patient and wait for a fix . Meanwhile it is back to reliable FSX for me .

Are there any developers willing do a repaint of the B737-800 new entrant REX Aviation into to Australian Airline Industry ?
-
I think I have it sorted .. went to sensitivities and fine tuned the rudder axis .

All set to go ,IFR in the A320 and 747-800 and the aircraft veers to the right of the RWY .
I am unable to reposition to the RWY heading for take-off .
Do you think this maybe a rudder sensitivity issue ?
This does not occur with other lighter aircraft .
Any thoughts would be appreciated .
Happy Christmas all .

I think what I really meant was , if I configure the joystick to the MSFS commands , will the joystick retain the FSX commands when I choose to fly FSX ? Or do I have to reset ?

While I have MSFS installed and up and running , I still have FSX performing perfectly .
Should I have a dedicated controller , that is , a separate one for MSFS ?
I haven't yet configured the joystick for MSFS .

I have had an epiphany .
I have Trend Micro Anti Virus .
Rather than block the protection , I have added MSFS to the exception list .
Silly me .
I have procrastinated about the whole reinstall smash .
It seems to me to be the answer to my problem .
Hope that might help for anyone watching this post .
I know that everyone's system is a stand alone ,but this worked for me .
Although , Fingers crossed .

Thank you again gentlemen ,
I have complied with all of your recommendations .
I seems that I will have to do the inevitable reinstall .

Thank you for your thoughts .
I have disabled Anti Virus and windows defender .
I have updated Microsoft store .
After opening , pressed spacebar and the welcome screen displayed and searched for updates .
Then I get the mountain scene and that's as far as it goes .
I hope I don't have to do the dreaded reinstall of the 10 discs .
-
I cannot get past the opening mountain scene .
I have trawled through most of the forum but I am unable to find a solution .
Any suggestions will be appreciated .

Thank you Gentlemen .

I am considering buying the physical MSFS , 10 discs .
Can I download to another drive ?
C: has only 136GB of space available
D: has 1.57TB available .
Trawling through the forums , I found that the installation automatically is attracted to C:/ drive .
Is this correct ?
Thank you for your consideration .
-
Thank you Trent ,
I am not using DX10 . but ,
Your information has been very helpful .
Kind regards ,
Graeme .

When outbound I see occasional white flashes when I pan around .
Anything to worry about or is there something sinister happening .
I can live with it because all is good when reaching top of climb .
It is no big deal , but is there a fix I am missing ?
-
Thank you Tim ,
That fixed it . All is good .
-
I am unable to hide the menu bar in FSX . It is greyed out .
The mouse pointer is black until it is placed over a clickable button on the aircraft panel .
Also when I select "go to airport" it loads to 64% and stops .
The blue roundel stops spinning and remains as a static black circle .
My new computer specs are.....
Windows 10
HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 790-00XX
Intel Core i7-8700 CPU 3.20GHZ
RAM 16GB
2TB HDD
64bit Operating system
nVIDIA GE Force GTX 1070 .
Suggestions would be appreciated

Maybe I should re-phrase the sliders to the max .
I do use the the sliders in accordance to Nick's definitive tweaking guide with particular notice regarding Auto-Gen .
-
Thank you Roger for your interest .
It occurs with all jetliners in close spot plane views .
All is good until FL290 and above .
Maybe I have to live with it , or stay with FSX where there is no issue .
The only reason I fly in FS9 is because there are some good features and I can have all sliders to the max
-
When viewing the spot plane at 300 knots or above the aircraft wings become pixelated .
I am thinking it maybe have something to do with the engine / exhaust / smoke effects .
Maybe I am missing something in the FS9.cfg .
Any thoughts anyone ?
Auto pilot A32NX won't connect on climb out .
in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 General Discussion
Posted
I have trawled the FBW documentation, but I still cannot engage the autopilot on climb out in the A32NX .
There is just a beep beep and it won't connect .
Has anyone else experienced this ?
Maybe I am missing an entry in the MCDU .
I have the A32NX Development mode installed.
It does not occur in the A320NEO model .
