  1. Earlier this Spring ( I think) Orbix released their Lancair 4 and RV-4 as freeware.

I got both of them but each has issues with starting. I know with the RV, you need to go into the engine section and fill the oil. But even after doing that, it still won't start. What have I forgot?

  2. Hi folks,

I'm looking for a program where I can park several of my aircraft at the same airport. As in if I had three warbirds parked on the ramp next to each other. Three different aircraft. Different paints.

I thought I remembered having something way back when I was running FS9, but I'm not sure.

Anyone know of a program that will allow this in FSX?

  3. Hi everyone,

I recently uninstalled Traffic 360 so I could re-install it. Hoping to fix a few issues I was having.

Once I re-installed it, I quickly remembered about the sound issue; AI plane sound levels really loud.

I know I got a fix for it in the past. But after searching two hard drives with downloads, I've come up empty.

Does anyone know where I can find it; link? I've found nothing with Just Flight as it's discontinued now.

    Any help appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Tom

  4. Best I can tell you is to dig into the SDK sound file section and modify the offending sound files, per aircraft. Each aircraft has information in those sound files that control what sound does from each view.

How do I get to the SDK sound file section? I know, I know and I've been doing this for a long time too. LOL

  5. I've posted on here about this issue before but hoping someone will have some insight.

I have noticed that some (not all) of my aircraft have very low engine sound levels when viewed from the "tower view".

I am not talking about when you are flying farther away. I mean right over the top and low. Almost silent.

Some of my aircraft are perfect. This seems to be on both payware and freeware aircraft.

An example would be with any of Milton Shoupe's beautiful freeware planes. They sound perfect from the "tower view". And change perfectly depending on how far away you are.

An example of it not sounding right would be the Golden Age Simulations freeware Curtis Robin. It sounds great until you go to "tower view" and you can barely hear it. And this can be while still on the ground parked next to the tower.

So my question here is two fold:

    1) Has anyone else had this issue before?

    2) How do I fix this? (with description please)

Look forward to hearing any thoughts and help.

    Tom
